Thinking of forking out a few grand on a new hitch and different buckets just to get rid of the stupid thing. So they end up jamming, banging, incorretly fitting buckets etc only for them to break something or come off unexpectedly. Multiple configurations the optional long arm or extendable arm. The redesigned Bobcat® engine improves performance, simplifies maintenance and maximizes uptime. Another flaw is here in Australia it's not really a common hitch.so if you have different operators on the machine on a regular basis then they have no idea how the hitch works as opposed to the conventional hitch. The E42 compact (mini) excavator offers enhanced hydraulic performance, improved efficiency and more precise control so you can push the limits and take on more complex work. The other most obvious flaw is the fact that you can't turn the bucket around. Available to suit Bobcat x-change, Kubota quick. Rhinox micro trenching buckets are available for 0.5 to 4 ton / 1,000 to 9,000 lbs mini excavators, in 3' to 6' wide at 15' or 27' deep. Then they start jamming in or out of the hitch itself. Our micro trenching buckets are manufactured from wear-resistant steel and feature rhino-shaped cut-outs down the bucket to allow material to fall out easier. They really shouldn't have a real lot of up and down movement exerted on them. The pins are only really there to lock the bucket in place. My.02c only.If your refering to the hitch with the two hooks and the two hydraulic pins that lock into the boss's on the bucket etc.then yea.had a number of problems. The problem with this design is that when the 'cradle' area of the hitch wears or that particular section on the bucket wears.then the little hydraulic pins take all the brunt of the machine. The only unknown for me is the test of time. It is outfitted with teeth as standard and features Bucket. The down side is the time spent on drawings and phisically building up the parts. My thinking behind this decision is #1 cost, #2 I hold my own drawings for all my required attachment parts (coupler, ears etc.). I built the coupler and wood splitter (other post) and will be buying buckets without ears and using my drawings to have the ears cut out for the buckets and I will weld them on myself. This combined with the new buckets will allow me to change tasks quickly.check. I used draftsight to draw up coupler parts and attachment ears. In this video I install a manual quick hitch on my bobcat E20 mini excavator. The route I am headed is transitioning from pin on attachments to quick coupler. I am in the same situation myself (need a variety of buckets/ attachments).
